What’s wrong with your garage floor?

  • Cracks
  • Tire rubber marks
  • Oil stains
  • Grease smears
  • Paint spills
  • Dirt stains
  • Grass stains from your mower
  • Concrete scrapes
  • Chips in the surface
  • Nail holes

Concrete is a porous surface. Almost all garage surfaces get stained and unsightly through the years. Oil and grease get down in all the pores and many times these stains simply won’t wash out with detergent and elbow grease. We use special industrial cleaners that get down into the concrete and removes contaminants.

Any concrete floor cracks with age. If you have decided you need garage floor repair, you need an epoxy floor coating to finish the job. Epoxy-strengthened concrete can take the stresses that naturally occur and cause damage to uncoated concrete.

Crack repair: We use a grinder with a diamond blade to cut a “V”, expanding the crack so that our special poly filler will go down into the break, not just sit on the surface. The filler application is a two part process, to ensure that the space is entirely filled. This is garage floor repair using the most unique, sophisticated process that has been designed.

Eliminating stains and marks: these are cleaned with industrial strength products and then we utilize a special machine to “scarify” the surface, which enhances the bonding with the coating.

You get a fresh, first class new floor: Sprayed epoxy dries to a rugged, exceptionally good looking surface. You have your choice of colors, patterns and textures. They can be made non-slip. A top layer of polymer, bonded to your floor, is the top level of garage floor repair.

When concrete develops cracks and stains, you have the option of conventional resurfacing or having it removed and a new surface poured. Now you have the option of refurbishment. The problem with garage floor repair using old fashioned resurfacing is that you can usually see where cracks were repaired; all you are getting is a coat of paint or a think layer of new concrete which is just as likely to buckle and crack as what’s underneath it did. In addition, troweling some concrete over a crack doesn’t get the job done, and it will show right through paint.

An epoxy coating is thick enough to mask imperfections, which is why it is the ideal garage floor repair. Plus, epoxy is a hardener. It adds tensile strength to concrete. Concrete is porous and the coating penetrates into the pores to bond and stand up to floor settling and subtle shifts in the earth. The filler that we use in cracks is formulated to bond with epoxy, so that the repaired area is bonded as tightly as any other surface receiving the coating.
